'Wobblys"

It is January 13 and terror is rising in the throats of the factory owners. Everywhere you look there is a strike going on. The American Woolen Company has lost more than 25,000 workers this past month. Why? False advertising. Something every Lawrence mill factory is being accused of. The strikes have turned violent. Joe Ettor and Arturo Giovannitti have been accused of murder, even though they were two miles away from the scene. Police killed 16-year-old John Rami even though he wasn't a striker. On day 43rd of the strike, children stood at the railroad waiting to be "adopted" until the strike was over. Police, acting under orders of the city marshal, choked and knocked down innocent women and children, the innocent wives and babies of the strikers. Let's pray the the factory owners will decide to give fair treatment before this gets even more out of hand.
