President Palooza

Andrew Johnson (1865-1869) He used to be a tailor.

Ulysses S. Grant (1869-1877) He smoked 20 cigars each day.

Rutherford B. Hayes (1877-1881) His wife was known as "Lemonade Lucy."

James A. Garfield (1881) As a boy, he had a job driving a horse that pulled boats up the Erie Canal.

Chester A. Arthur (1881-1885) He was known as "Gentleman Arthur."

Grover Cleveland. His campaign motto was "Whatever you do, tell the truth."

Benjamin Harrison (1889-1893) His father was a congressman.

Grover Cleveland (1893-1897) He had a cancerous sore secretly removed. Nobody hardly knew about it.

William McKinley (1897-1901) He was the first president since Andrew Johnson without a beard or a mustache.
